Casting Support
Optional audition support for current FilmLab students.
FilmLab Academy may assist current students with suitable casting opportunities where appropriate. Students do not need to subscribe to be considered for suitable roles.
The Casting Support Subscription is an optional service for students who want extra help preparing audition materials, improving self-tapes, and keeping their casting materials submission-ready.
This service does not guarantee auditions, callbacks, roles, paid work or casting outcomes. Casting decisions are made by producers, casting directors and production companies.
Choose Your Path
Students can use Casting Support in two ways.
The free Forward-Only pathway is for current students who already have complete, ready-to-submit materials.
The optional Casting Support Subscription is for students who want extra preparation help, feedback and casting material support.
PATH 1. Forward-Only Submissions
For current FilmLab students who already have their materials ready.
Students may still be considered for suitable opportunities without subscribing, subject to role fit, consent, deadlines, capacity and compliance requirements.
No feedback or preparation support is included.
PATH 2. Casting Support Subscription
$50 per month. Cancel anytime.
For students who want additional audition preparation and casting material support.
This may include self-tape feedback, wardrobe and slate guidance, movement notes, profile support and showcase listing where suitable.
What Subscribers Receive
The Casting Support Subscription provides extra audition preparation and casting material support for current FilmLab students who want more guidance before submitting materials.
Subscribers may receive:
• self-tape feedback for up to 3 takes per audition
• wardrobe, makeup and slate guidance
• physical movement guidance based on the script or sides
• support with casting profile presentation
• guidance around headshots, reels, measurements, credits and submission materials
• showcase listing while enrolled and in good standing, where suitable
The subscription is for audition preparation and support services only. It does not guarantee submission, auditions, roles, paid work or priority treatment.
Important Notes
Casting Support is optional. Students may still be considered for suitable opportunities without subscribing.
Casting decisions are made by producers, casting directors and production companies. FilmLab cannot guarantee auditions, callbacks, roles, paid work or casting outcomes.
Non-subscribers may still use the Forward-Only pathway where appropriate, but they must provide complete, submission-ready materials themselves.
Subscribers may receive support with casting profile presentation and preparation, but any third-party casting platform fees, upgrades or paid features are separate from the FilmLab subscription.
Before FilmLab provides casting support or submission services, students or parents/guardians may be required to complete the relevant acknowledgement process.
